Really curious about it... Came to know from songfacts info on this that it had participation from a rehab project that takes former inmates from the jail Gilmour's son had done time. The line "from the burning lake to the eastern gate" must refer to some kind of prison. Then.... when you watch the animation it's Lucifer falling from the sky, so when I try linking the video and the lyrics It appears to tell It pays off breaking the rules and being thrown down from heaven or some stuff like that. What do you think? |
