@[Lumpy_custard:34352] I mean, the rest of the album doesn't seem to form a story (given that No Surprises is a story itself in which the guy most likely kills himself at the end) but yeah the connection between The Tourist and Airbag sounds about right. |

I feel like this is about an only survivor of a plane crash who wouldn't have minded dying. He's depressed but he's deemed as a miracle by people so he now feels responsible to try and enjoy his life. Things have been rough for him but he lucked out in the crash so he thinks maybe he'll keep being lucky, maybe "his luck could change" and maybe "it's gonna be a glorious day." He tries to stay positive but he still doesn't wanna go when the president calls him to interview and stuff for publicity. He just doesn't have the energy to care. |
