| I think it's about remembering your inner child. The child that's fearless, but broken by truth. That truth can make it hard to love. He talks about how he'll "Always" remember you (Goodbye my deeper child). He want's to take down his barricades and remember what it was like to love again. Compared to being a child, we're cowards when it comes to love. Maybe this is just how I feel about the world, but it rings pretty clear to me. | |
