I came here as I have just heard this song...loving/relating to the lyrics. My interpretation, a little similar to some others re The Matrix, in so far as...I feel like we are in a game...4.6 billion years in the making, and that we are Avatars... Staying connected not just to family, friends, aquaintances, but to the reality of wealth and power flowing to a few, (Dark Money) at the cost of our planet/natural world. The good v evil scenario, light and dark, and so on. Stay connected to what is going on, politically, economically...why the oppressed, the exploited, why the rise in crime, domestic violence... Disposable Heroes Of Hiphoprisy, the - Television, The Drug Of The Nation...says similar...keeping people down, entertained with a diet of junk food, not noticing their world is not only passing them by, but being changing for the worse/worst! Some good stuff documenting our past, so again choosing good connections on the 'idiot' box, to see what really is going on, a image portal to the world And believing we can change it...OUR history in OUR hands. Like why are Mother Earths gifts deemed illegal...who has the right to tell me what I can and cannot have if it is of this Earth and not man made...I am a decent, morally upstanding person who knows right from wrong...Cannabis/Marijuana such a wonderful resource from food to fibre to medicine is a good case in point. Who is pulling the strings and for what. Eminems' Square Dance, another thought provoking take on our REALITY...money is KING; in the wrong hands it is poison. Not religious, and not money itself as a form of currency, but the 'love' of money, is the root of all evil. Stay CONNECTED. |
