| It's amazing to think that this man went threw life with such an ordeal of pain he had built up over time. Many people claim that he sold his soul to the devil. It's crazy to think though, we can't sell our soul, yes we can make bad choices that can maybe lead us into the worst imaginable situation/place in the after life. But still we can not technically sell our soul because it's not ours to sell! If God infact exists then it's obvious that we belong to the creator and what he chooses of us in the afterlife or even now is up to him. Satan could possibly torment people and make them think otherwise but empathy and remorse and also repentance can still change ones altatude for who truly knows us, and Satan can only then question the future of one's soul but will never truly know! | |

| I think this song is as if the drugs are thoughtfully rapid in this young 19 year Olds mind as he rises to fame. Then he acknowledges all the things that came with fame like a movie deal, sitting in a chair that has four wheels, and flash photography, he then realises and remembers that all this was special dreams he once had. He also says suckers dreams, I guess I thought you had the flavour. In this case I think he realises that all this fame is not what he was expecting to involve. Now all he is left to ask himself "remember me"! The person before the fame | |

| I've read everyone's interpretation of this song but I disagree that it's associated with a breakup resulting to maybe suicide. In fact when I listen to this song I always feel a deep sense of emotions full of love and loss. See, I believe this song is about someone who was taken away like many other people back in the day, to fight for there country and live while having to hide there eyes why there lungs are aching. I feel like this song is directed to someone he considers a friend who is fighting this battle along side him. The conversation is him expressing intense emotions and him asking his friend "I hope you see what I see, I hope you feel what I feel"... And when he said from 6 to 10. Those hours were known to be the time between when people were up and having to fight for there country to when these men could try and rest and sleep. When he speaks about there being no better time, no better way, no better day to be saved. It speaks for itself. And when he speaks about when freedom comes and how he would be long gone. He ends this verse by saying "you know this has to end"! In all honesty, with war this would be anyone's dream.as he talks about someone to stand by me. This is insinuating having a mate to stand by your side and look out for one and another while seeing what he sees and feels like he feels in this matter of war.the weeping willow part about pills under there pillow and gun under his mates pillow is common for men back in the day that were at war.his ending to the song "beside me, beside me", is him needing this friend to stand by his side threw such an ordeal. And him needing his friend to have his back. But the part where he says the world won't stop and there's no time for cracking up, that hits deep if you consider how someone at war knows life is still spinning outside this trauma he's experiencing and yet he doesn't even have time for cracking up (laughing or smiling like from jokes). Yet when freedom comes he will be long gone and yet speaking such truth to his friend "you know this has to end"! | |

This song reminds me of a true story about a girl many years ago who ended up being named Genie (a.k.a feral child). When Genie was discovered, she was so mulnourished and believed to of been locked into a room for days on end and chained to a potty. When she was ever spoken to it was from her parents and older siblings barking at her. As she got taken away from her family, she lived in hospitals but was put into the care of a doctor that at the time was studying her case. At first although probably 10, she had a understanding mindset to the world and words of someone no older then 1yr old. As she got older she learned only a few words and learnt to dress herself but as the years went by there was no longer any funding for doctors to be able to look after her case, so she got put back into her mother's welfare and then threw out the system of foster homes and more cases of abuse. (her father though committed suicide before his court date.) I see this song like this child and her name given to her for a genie comes out of somewhere with no understanding of the past outside from that somewhere in which they came from. But Genie; for although it was a short while she enjoyed the company of her doctor friend that had her in his care although he lived close by (next door). The friend would of watched birds sow with her, make books, do activities the lot. Yet she reached a certain age and her mind set was getting better, her friend and other care workers, sitting there with her why smoking cigars to relieve the stress because they legally had to give the child back to the same place that broke her in the first place. It became a thought on her case whether it was ever about wether genetics or environmental factors played a greater role in Genies developing language skills at the time prior to her neglect and where her happiness rested now. Either way the doc managed to make her feel simple pleasures that felt to her like the sawing raven in the sky she would often see when she was with him felt like pleasures in her knickers. Like young children, touching one self for pleasure isn't linked in there mind to be anything ever thought provoking similar to sexual orientation. |

| I think this song could also mean a child is born to be his brother's keeper. He is indured pain just to keep his brother alive. Blood transplant or bone marrow type of stuff. His life is simply not his and maybe his brother still ends up dying and he grows cold yet sorrowful and he places the label on himself: unforgiven | |

I believe this song is about a young adult who ends up getting a girl pregnant and new blood (baby) joins the world. Still so young himself as he is looked at in discrace. yet the child (baby) draws in. All the rules everyone gave him, he (still) vow (ed) unto his own (child) That never from this day His will they'll take away (to being this newborn baby's father). But due to circumstances he gets parted from this child and it shifts to when the baby grows up and tracks him down; What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never be Never see Won't see what might have been What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never free Never me So I dub thee unforgiven The father ended up growing up trying to make his reputation to be a decent person. Yet he failed the one thing that mattered the most, his son. So he grows up regretfully! |
