This song was used in The Walking Dead: A TellTale Series and it fit the themes that abounded within the storyline. Here are some literary devices I found: "salty seas"-tears for what she has lost "the falling leaf that never tries"-one who finds no purpose in living "was so green"-possibly one who is young and tender "summer dream"-that dying glimmer of hope that things will get better "sleep that keeps me alive"-possibly the hope of finding a home "the sudden ease when you arrive"-a loved one whom she held dear "you...make me try"-she goes on in life because of him and everything he has done. |
