| I think there's too much in the song that points to earthly love to think its about just death and heaven in general. I think its about a couple of Christian's who love each other but can't be together for one reason or another. Maybe they're already married to other people. And the song weaves back and forth between present and past and future. They know that if they do the right thing and stay faithful to what God wants them to do (possibly their marriages) when they do die they'll be together in heaven. | |
