I think it's about a man knowing his imperfections and he knows he sins but loves her and wants her to know how much he loves her. He on the floor begging for forgiveness. To the only one that probably knows him better than he knows himself. He wants her to accept him as he accepts her (lead me into your darkness) sins and faults. Nothing in this world does anything for him. Doesn't make him feel like she does. By that one caress. It's just a beautiful song. So well written and deep. All time favorite from Martin. |
