I think Hootie was really worried that Driver 8 wasn't listening to REM so he rerecorded the song in hopes that Driver 8 finally "Took a break". The destination is unknown. |

This is a song about trains and the need to take a break. Of all the tales that could be told of Reconstruction, the need for fair labor laws tops the list. Snipes knew he was losing his hair even at this point, but all the angst in the world could not convince his receding hairline to "take a break". After become practically bald, he recorded "Stand" as a final plea. |
