I think the song is one man's drug trip of something (maybe DMT) he smoked. The entity he talks to is a apparition of his girlfriend (who is actually in the room but he sees as a perfect entity). I am feeling very warm right now Please don't disappear I am spacing out with you You are the most beautiful entity that I've ever dreamed of Through the rest of the song he is professing his love for her in his drug induced hyperspace world. The line "Well, I really think you should quit smoking" reveals the actual girlfriend speaking and instantly gives him a buzzkill and distorts the apparition of her due to that. She isn't so perfect anymore. She could have said "Well, I really think you should quit smoking DMT" but that would have made the song to obvious. |
