Midnight Oil – Gadigal Land Lyrics 2 years ago
This song is about the indigenous peoples of Australia. It's main focus is those of the Cadigal (also referred to the Gadigal). Lines like "Don't you bring your armies" and "We can live without your guns" shows exactly what the band is trying to say; Leave the indigenous people alone and do not ruin their culture by brining the dangers of first world politics.

The Silver Seas – What's The Drawback Lyrics 4 years ago
After listening to this song, it stands out to me as a song about a guy who has met this girl who seems absolutely perfect for him. The song describes him thinking there is no way she's this perfect and that there has to be some kind of drawback. He's looking for something wrong in her but he "can't think of one thing". That's my quick interpretation, you all might have something different, but oh well.

ABC – Poison Arrow Lyrics 4 years ago
This seems to be a very straightforward song. A man has confessed his love for a girl but is rejected a cruel way. He then proceeds to use a poison arrow as an analogy for how she broke his heart.
