@[heyneverland:33004] the beauty killer album actually has a lot of references to invisible monsters. i’m pretty sure this track is about brandy. one of the lyrics, "it doesn’t look good when you’re dead on the floor" sounds like it’s referring to how evie shoots brandy at the end (and, well, beginning) of the novel, and she’s on the floor bleeding to death. "everything not always what it seems" may be referring to who brandy really is. i’m trying not to spoil it for ya’ll who haven’t read the book, but let’s just say, towards the end of the novel it’s revealed that brandy is someone else. "your body can’t move, paralysed and plastic" is most likely referring to how brandy has had a lot of plastic surgery. as for the rest of the song, i’m not sure, but these ones seemed the most obvious to me. |
