I like to take the song at face value. I imagine this little girl in a crystal gown dancing in a floating palace in the sky. (which makes no sense but fun to imagine) But due to being foolish and careless, she falls off and dies. someone was expecting her to fall and knew she would not survive. This is equivalent to the Tarot card of the fool. Just being careless. Not paying attention. Falling off that cliff. Let's ask Tina Root what she meant for it to be! |
