@[sweetkungfumaster:34358] I don’t think he would be the legend he is today had he not died. He was very political and a threat to the people in power. One scandal would have ruined everything he had worked for. And those seem to be happening quite frequently today. |

Why hasn’t anyone commented on THE most beautiful part of the song?—after the crescendo, when it descends to the moving vocals atop the contributing strings from Amiina, who recorded and toured with the band’s release of Takk..., and several others. |

Everyone keeps talking about the same line! This song is about so much more!! It’s about losing someone to a breakup (I thought death too, but then she says “we can’t go back, we’re on our own”). How when you are in that state of pure melancholy, all you see is sadness in the world. But then having the balls to get back out there and try to be yourself, even though it’s the hardest thing in the world. Then the day comes, the (I guess) anniversary of the breakup(?) where it seems as if you’re back at square one emotionally. But all you can see is what’s in front of you, you live life in the present and get back out there. |

@[TragicX:33227] perhaps it’s because “now my sorrow seems so far away; until I’m taken by these bolts of pain; but I turn them off and tuck them away; till these rainy days that make them stay...” |
