the girl is pretty much singing about her emotions and drug induced state. probably something like xanax with the mention of “bars” and “xans” but it could be mixed with an ecstasy experience hence the lyric “think i’m rolling” then there is the part about do you remember that time i missed you in the basement...this is one of the darker more creepier parts of this artist. it is in another song that she mentions what happens when she “missed you in the basement”. kinda messed up. if you listen to the other song, “gold”. she brings the basement thing up again. if i’m not mistaken there may be even another song that mentions the basement incident. i forget. maybe someone else can comment. cool song. |
