I believe it's about being hurt, and because of that sometimes we are so afraid to allow ourselves to fully love again, in fears of having our heartbroken so badly again. Free love doesn't necessarily have to mean one night stand, maybe it was meant that way, maybe not. I like to think it's much deeper than just saying just have a one night stand. I like to think he's saying he's the real deal, and he can sympathize with anyone whose ever been really hurt before, because it happened to him also, but his love is not to deceive, and that when he loves someone it's genuine. No lies, no excuses. He loves freely, not holding on to old drama, and pain from the past from whoever previously hurt him, because as they say if you focus always on your past you'll never move forward. The worst mistake when you find someone you believe is the real deal, is to screw it up by making that person pay for the mistakes of your ex. They're not your ex, and if you believe it's the real deal, don't put doubts in place that don't need to be there. If you're not ready to love freely, then maybe it's too soon to be in any new relationship. LOL, then you could just assume free love, as a one night stand instead till you're ready for free love as opening your heart to love freely again. :D | |
