When i listen to this song i always get a picture of medieval times... a princess, in an arranged marriage to a weathy royal who she doesnt truly care for but must marry by law of her parents. But shes really in love with a man of non royal blood, who doesnt have much money but his love for her is greater than any amount of money. I think he stands at the gates of her castle singing to her as she watches from her window, and hes begging her not marry the other man, leave the money and royalty behind and come away with him and although they wouldnt have money, he promises, he would make her his life and give her an imaginable love that she would never look back and have regrets. |

I always thought this song was about a guy who is infatuated with a girl who, as he describes, has 'electric blue' eyes... when he says 'are you hiding somewhere behind those eyes?' Im assuming its her electric blue eyes hes singing about.. hes captivated by electric blue eyes. |
