It’s actually a cover. The original artist was Frankie Vallie and the four seasons. It was a Motown track. I always associate it with the late 60’s/early 70’s, and I’m pretty sure it featured on the soundtrack of one of those hippy stage musicals, either, “Hair”, or “Jesus Christ Superstar” or something. Any ideas? |
