This song puts into words a struggle I've been having internally. Wowza. Immunity long overdue contagion I exhale you Naive I opened up to you venom in mania.. Immediately we get a reference to vaccination - the sacramental initiation into the current global religion. Bombshell! And like sacraments of times past if only we submit to the procedure we are promised freedom from the contagion of sin - protection from our own nature by surrendering to the divine will. It's long overdue, suggesting both a reluctance to submit - probably both on the personal and societal levels. Note that governments at present are in a war with human stubbornness - in America and around the world our capacity to refuse vaccination is being stripped away in the name of salvation from disease. Contagion exhaled spreads even as it eliminates it from the self - in his false understanding he spat venom at the divine will. The deceiver is of course Apollo, reinforcing self imposed alienation and encouraging a rejection of divine knowledge. Fear the light bringer, fear the approaching spirit of god, fear God's people for eternity. He percieves that many ARE being freed through the spirit//pneuma , but the destruction it will cause if he accepts it still causes apprehension. Inoculation is of course another more direct reference to vaccination - the term derived from the period where smallpox was deliberately spread from person to person in the pursuit of public health. Bless this immunity. He's come to understand the nature of the sacramental exorcism... and blesses it. Three times. Now he exhales and sin is driven out. He recasts his tale, completely reimagining what he thought he knew about his purpose and designed this lamentation for the exorcism of free will from humanity. Stated quite directly in the next lines. Forfeit all control. You poison. You spectacle. Hes calling out the wonders and miracles of the abomination of desolation.... free will... his own sin... all must surrender to God including himself. Sacraments and exorcism go hand in hand - whether it was baptism or vaccination the objective is to free the soul from the damnation attendant with sin. The false miracles and pharmacopoeia that wicked men perpetrated , the social sickness, the ungodly manner in which we've lived as a species are being cast out permanently. And hes prepared to release it. He sees the light - the reality... the truth of the worlds nature... the fog off sin is gone and Satan flees. That ancient serpent, who has deceived the entire world is stripped of his power! The reign of the saints can commence. A long time coming refers both to relief that the 70 is finally over, but also to the fact that he's only been chased away and will make a brief return in 1000 years prior the great work - deification - being accomplished. |
