@[Pikoka:31742] it's actually not about being crazy. It's about feeling crazy and also feeling like everyone else is crazy for not realizing what you realized about life because most people choose to live their life in the Matrix while people like the narrator are Neo in a sense, but that doesn't make them any better than the people stuck in the matrix. If anything it makes it worse because you have this hyper awareness of everything around you and it doesn't even freaking matter because in the grand scheme of things we all will die and we don't have control over that which makes us all kind of crazy in a sense to either be hyper aware of it and embrace it or to choose to live your life avoiding it with ignorance, but we all know our destination regardless. |

@[TrueSongMeanin:31741] Exactly. I feel like that everyday. I've had so many people close to me die and it just makes me more and more aware that no matter how I choose to live my life, I can never go back to how I thought before eating the fruit of knowledge and it sucks. A lot of people live in a bubble, but when you get pushed out of that bubble, it's hard living everyday without being depressed. All you want to do is anything but exist but at the same time you want to live for as long as possible. It's so freaking complex and sad. |

I agree to what everyone has said here. Sometimes I feel like nearly everyone is driving in the same lane and I am one of those few who sees the short cut and wonders why no one else does, but I want so badly to run in the same lane as everyone else, but I'm stuck in the middle contemplating whether I should take that short cut or take the long way round like everyone else. In other words, stuck between embracing enlightenment early or going through many life experiences to get there even though you know in essence it's all pointless and there's no right or wrong way to take which makes you go crazy and you wonder if they are crazy for not seeing the short cut or are you for noticing it and wanting to take it.
That's what I feel this song is about. |
