I think this song is about a heroin addict. "Get low" is slang for using heroin. Sunken eyes, black sheep of the family, and sweet pariah also support this. |

I agree with BobtheCornCob it's in part about heroin but I think people are missing the song references. "Papa was a rolling stone" and "I can see for miles and miles" are song references. That and "the day that I die will be the day I shut my mouth and put down my guitar " refer to how much Bradley loves music. The fast, frantic tempo is his current mood. So I think the song is about how he is, his heroin addiction and love of music and his sense that things are always the same in the end, a sentiment he's expressed in many songs like Garden Grove and What I Got. |
