"when you dreamed them up oh flo, where did you go(×3), o-oh" im guessing meaning the woman is also dealing with menopause in her older years therefore losing her period. Just a guess. I think that's what he is saying. |

His lyrics are poetic yet blunt and to the point and this is exactly what is happening. Thanks for laying it out for us to read. I definitely cry hearing this song that's exactly why. The music creates a perfect setting for the story and i can even hear in his voice, the respect he has for the reality and logic in the tragic ending to the dream fling. He knows he's just playing a seat filler and reveals his underlying acceptance through his observant attention to the situation in entirety. | |
