I was looking the meaning from this other song by a German band: "Big In Japan" by Alphaville, and "The zoo" is also referenced there as it was a common place to find drugs in Berlin, filled with junkies and obviously everything that comes with such a place (prostitution, illegal activities and so on)... Being Scorpions german, probably The Zoo is refering exactly to that place, as in after a week of work you will go to the zoo to do some drugs, get a girl and have a wild night out there. |
