@[Cascademania:40015] yes is may be about a determined girl but in the video when he says "she\'s got her head down tight" the singer points to his head and drops his head down out of the camera view as if he\'s going down on someone. So yes it may also reference a woman that\'s determined it is literally referencing a woman that\'s going down on him. |

@[ianrobertson:31480] interesting. She never mentioned this during her VH1 performance of Storytellers from 2005. She goes on for 4 minutes about what inspired the song and her intent behind it but nothing about a friend's attempted suicide. When she talks about the 10k Maniacs song, "What's The Matter Here?" On the same show she gets choked up and had to compose herself. I going to search for video of what you mentioned. Thx |
