| Some moron on YouTube wrote of how she had this song played while her dad walked her down the aisle at her wedding. It's like she didn't even read the lyrics. I brought up the meaning, but she kept trying to defend her choice of music, that she really liked the song. I really like the song too, but it's fairly obvious that this is not an appropriate song for that occassion. You don't want to be talking about pushing a man away while you're about to get married to one. | |

I really love the feel of this song, but I wish I could understand what the lyrics are about. The first part sounds like it might be about getting a girl that is outside of his league. Then it seems like there's some violence, but who's being violent against whom? Then maybe he didn't get her after all, but is really trying? Then she's saying to him that he'll never get her even if he keeps hitting her? I don't get it! |
