If you are married, like me - 40 yrs! and have children this is the kind of shit that goes through your head when they r small and maybe your relationship with your significant other is under some stress. The point of view the singer/narrator changes throughout the song. I hear children’s voices, I hear a wife, and I hear yearning for something by our song protagonist, in the lyrics, That is dependent somewhat on the confines of this relationship the main relationship, but is interested and fantasizing over other relationships, and it overlaps into the main relationship. So it is all just a big mess, but at the same time so lovely as you can tell, from listening to this great song. |
