It feels as if you experience love for the very first time and become who you are meant to be. "That dark is all we know" They have only known the darkness which resides in their own minds before this. They opened up and let the divine spark flow through them. Which changes everything. "How could I leave your side, I just had a revelation" In the Abrahamic religions, the term is used to refer to the process by which God reveals knowledge of himself, his will, and his divine providence to the world of human beings. In secondary usage, revelation refers to the resulting human knowledge about God, prophecy, and other divine things. "I'll come by, let the flame burn through. And if it's coming down to me, when I reach your destination I'll ignite into flames for you" From a spiritual perspective Fire represents our passions, compulsion, zeal, creativity, and motivation (as in, “put a fire under it!”). "Another Space Song" continues a major theme of the album, using the vast emptiness of outer space as a metaphor for the isolation and introversion felt in the depth of Drug Addiction. for excemple: "All my missions float away. I never trained too hard." Meaning; the substance abusers dreams and goals are fading away as Addiction clouds it all out, and due to the Addiction they are no longer actively pursuing them. "I'm so caught up in the tree of stars, falling in my backyard." (Tree of Stars) references the brain and how you can get so caught up inside your own head. Addiction will make you a dreamer. “She” being the thing we all crave, whether it be Drugs, Alcohol, Sex, Love, or whatever it is that makes you tick. "I've got no Houston to whine down to, I've got no protocol." You’ve isolated everything else in your life, you don’t feel like you have any connection, any responsibilities ... |
