I think this song might be about somone planning their own suicide. She's set herself a deadline to do it, and she's counting down the hours to her own life.
"I'm not messing" is her saying that she isn't kidding around about it this time, and that she's actually going through with it.
"I can't believe how I've been wasting my time" means that she doesn't understand what the point is of her living any more. She's given up hope.
"I need your blessing and your promise to live free" is kind of her suicide note, saying "It's not your fault... please don't blame yourself." |

This song reminds me a lot of anorexia, and the struggles the disease takes you through. I guess it can relate to perfectionism, like what Brandon struggles with. Especially the part "It's a disease, they'll never have a cure. But I'm the one who's wrong. I'm the one who cries." It reminds me a lot of my own personal struggles, and how you believe that you need to be a certain way, or look the certain way.. but in the end it's you that's wrong, and it's you hurting yourself. |

This song is about a fly falling in love with a spider and falls victim to the spiders world. It's about living in denial and the sacrifices people make in relationships. The fly gives up its identity and falls in love with its captor.
This song is very true in relation to humans, because we always tend to fall in love with the wrong people even when we know deep down that they'll hurt us in the end. |

I fell in love with this song when i heard it in the movie A Walk To Remember, and i searched for it everywhere. I couldn't find the mp3 anywhere on the internet, and a week later i found their cd when i was going through the metal section in A & B Sound. I've been in love with the band ever since. |
