@[babyruth412:30645] my first interpretation of the lyrics is that it is a song about suicide because of the lyric "carry me away for the last time", alluding to his pallbearers. my second interpretation is that the writer is weary and tired of his current situation, and just wants to "hitch a ride" on outta there, leave everything behind, get on a boat and "sail away" where "sun shines another day". |
