Even though you just became part of the earth - you are ushered into a society of Cost and Obligation. 'Having national pride or fighting for your country - why?? The object to life is subjective yet the blind eye only believe what they are told. So whats the big picture... Humans have trapped themselves into this social game instead of being truly free and doing that which brings real meaning and happiness... The whole song is like a wake up call - meeting you where you are at to reach in and turn on the light to your reality. Its crazy. Very good work here. |

Okay so a person who used to be in a relationship talks to an old friend who mentions that the ex lover had found someone. OKAY So, person 1 gets info on ex lover(Person 2). But here’s the trouble: Person 1 is still struggling to be separated from person 2. Person 1 still has feelings that bring them down. In the song - person 1 runs the relationship through their head to try and figure out what the problem was that separated them, even if person 2 does not love them anymore. Person 1 Starts to get to the heart of the matter, they put work in front of their love. Person 1 now realizes that working hard can’t replace being in love. So here in lies the problem and solution, person 1 thought that they could both love and work, while person 2 wanted just love. Person 1 wishes that person 2 loved them enough to make it work.
