@[someguy3:30127] I agree with you! Maynard is also a libertarian but he's not a far right conservative republican. He's definitely not a retarded liberal either which is the party of anti 1st amendment policies, taxing the middle class to make them poor, virtue signaling closet racists. He's pretty much a pro constitution libertarian that's strongly for the 1st and 2nd amendment. He's literally been on the front cover of several firearm magazines holding AR15's and other guns. Plus the Hush song on Opiate is pretty much a pro 1st amendment song! I can say what I want to! Even if I'm not serious! I've been following everything Maynard for years and everything he's ever said through his music and in real life has proven most of what I just pointed out. You should read his book and listen to some of the interviews and podcasts he's been on. |

@[lindsey117:30125] Ummm no. Maynard is 100% pro 2nd amendment and he's a libertarian. Google Maynard and firearms. He's literally been on the front cover of several gun magazines over his career and even recently. Either way I understand why you would think this song is about guns and those attacks. It could be interpreted that way but that's not what he's talking about in the lyrics. It's more about our government and the religious fool in control of it. |

@[Sibuna:30124] People just love acting holier than thou and patting themselves on the back! Especially on social media with a the look at me I'm such a good person bs posts while they literally are just sitting on their asses and not helping anyone except themselves to boost their own ego. It's pathetic! It's basically a song about politicians and even most of society to shut up and let people be free. If your going to complain about a problem then shut your mouth and do something about it. If not then just shut up and get out of my way. |

@[Ozziedave:30123] I'm pretty sure this whole song is about how screwed up our government is in the US and it's because most of the politicians are fake religious hypocrites that use Jesus as their talking points but then they go about their lives not being anything like Jesus. Politicians don't care about your health care or whether you end up starving, homeless, and bleeding out on the streets. All they care about is money! While they rob all of us of our way of life this country is getting more and more divided and going down the toilet while these dummies just sit around and praise Jesus. All these stupid politicians and even most people in society are constantly having arguments about stupid crap that doesn't matter and basically just loving the sound of their own voices. Meanwhile people are losing their jobs, health insurance, houses, and freedoms to do and say whatever the hell they want. Maynard basically just see's this country and the rest of the world as a shathole and hopes a meteor takes us all out! lol It's very pessimistic but I'd have to agree. The world is full of retards and the only thing that's going to solve it is an asteroid! |

@[Ozziedave:30122] If you know Maynard and his music then you'd definitely know this song doesn't have anything to do with gun control. That's laughable. He's pretty much a libertarian and pro 2nd Amendment. This has been shown throughout many of his lyrics over the years. Plus he was in the military at one point and understands the need for the 2nd Amendment. Even more proof of this if you Google Ballistic magazine and look for several of the articles that he's featured in not to mention he's literally holding AR15's and 50 caliber rifles on the front cover of some of them. Either way he's definitely not anywhere close to being a far left or far right. Songs like Hush is pro 1st amendment and not for silencing people like most liberals want in this country. But with that said he's not far right either because he's not some dumb Jesus loving hypocritical moron. If you actually listen to what he says in the podcasts and interviews he has talked on then you'd know he's full libertarian. This song is about the hypocrites in society who act like they're better than others but don't practice what they preach. Specifically people in our government including both left and right political parties. Especially the morons who act holier than thou and use god to defend their points of view. The man is clearly anti-religion with possibly the exception of Buddhism. A lot of his lyrics are inspired by Buddhism but then again most of Buddhism isn't really a religion. It's a philosophy and way of life for most people who truly practice it. Anyways, just wanted to point out this has nothing whatsoever to do with banning guns or gun control. |
