| Personally, I believe this song is about fitting in and conforming to what everyone else wants you to be instead of being yourself. The bits "conform or be cast out" and "be cool or be cast out" symbolize society's dislike (for lack of a better word) of individuality and nonconformity. Not saying that is a set in stone meaning, just my personal opinion. | |
