I think it's about the stereotypical peaceful feeling of a Sunday morning, and how it's actually a sad or depressing time to reflect on the struggles in your life. You might feel calm but you also have a little feeling of apprehension for the coming week, and your issues are always in the back of your mind. This is reflected by how the song can be so calm and peaceful, and yet the lyrics are referring to the troubles of the world outside of your Sunday morning bubble. |
