This strikes me as a nihilistic interpretation of modern life in general. We're born, we live, we die. What do we get from it? What does it mean? Does anything we do even matter? And as the darkness falls upon us, did anything we do change anything of value? Simplistic interpretation, but this song touched my heart enough to feel that it was worth it. |
