In fact, because they are a reggae band, its more likely that they are creationists, as Rastafarianism is a form of Judaism. They often praise "Jah" and "the most high" which are references to God Jahova of the bible. They are probably political leftists to some degree and support separation of church and state, but that doesn't mean that they aren't creationists. The reference to separation of church and state is probably a dig at evolution being a religion taught in schools since there is no proof of it and is just a theory, which is erroneously being pushed as a fact in every public school in the country. Evolutionism is more like a religious cult that a scientific field of study and what public school do you know of that teaches creation and not evolution? The reference to the patriots in the sky confirms this because its likely that they are talking about the dead soldiers in heaven who died for this country to keep it a free nation under God. Most patriots, especially soldiers, are upset about evolution being taught. And the way Reb talks about the youth growing up and how the teachers will regret it must be a reference to communism amd how destructive and how oppressive it is. Every communist regime in history was established and ran by atheists! When God is removed from the equation then anything goes. No morals plus no rights equals no laws to protect the citizens from tyrants. There are no such thing as human rights without creation. Creation itself is what gives our lives meaning purpose and value. If God doesn't exist then neither do our rights as our rights are rooted in that value, purpose and meaning of life. A godless system over a godless population is a tyrant's wet dream. That's why they put leftists teachers in public schools and push both evolution and socialism. They want a bunch of godless, mindless zombies who just want free stuff so they can plunder the rich and middle class without consequences. They use poor people to steal from other rich people.
