The beautiful loser wants too many of the "good things" in life. He doesn't realize that choices need to be made and sacrifices made for those choices, Or maybe he's just indecisive... So he tries to win at everything, get everything he wants, please everyone he meets, always be polite. He wants the best of both worlds, he wants to dream like a young man but be wise like an old one. He wants home and security but he also wants to live like a sailor at sea and be wild and daring. But you cannot be wild and daring and have home and security. Choices need to be made and sacrifices for those choices. He'll always be a good friend and try to please people because he has no singular goal to make sacrifices for, no reason to tell you "no" or not be there when you're in need. He's a really nice guy, a "beautiful" guy, he tries...he tries to win it all, master everything, but ends up losing. A jack of all trades, master of none. |
