It's pretty self explanatory, I feel anyone who truly understands this has come from dark times. Shit in the dark but I feel this is a story of a man who feels the weight of his entire past coming back and creeping towards the forefront of his mind. All the terrible things that he's done in his life that he's now understanding is what has made him this monster. I connected to this song in a way that im finally realizing that I'm wrong and the feeling of shame remorse and guilt is overwhelming. "All in all I'm not the same And I try to tell you everything All of the things I've done But you never come back home All in all I'm not the same And I'm scared to tell you everything All of the things I've done Would you let me come back home? " All he wants is to be understood by the person he feels is the one that bests understood him but even he can't admit the things that are troubling him because they're so awful. Beautiful song; It screams redemption in silence so it recieves nothing. Its an apology muted by tears. |
