| I reckon this is a follow on from a previous song on the album, You're the One I Love. In that Gray describes the feelings of a dying soldier on the battlefield for his loved one. Well you know what ? - he survived - "patch me up and send me home". Now he's just bored with hospital food, fed up with just talking to his partner on the phone and itching to get home.
