Hello and thank you for the previous theories. I like them a lot. My feeling from the lyrics is, that the spirit of human love itself is demonstrating trough it. I'm sure almost everyone can positively identify themselves with both "sides" the Loving and the Beloved. And that we all had relationships where we have been one or the other. In this song you can relate to every single verse, cause you can say to the ones you loved, your loving presence will forever be there, no matter what. Also you can feel from the few people who love(d) you, but you cannot answer their feelings, how they will always stay somehow committed to you, even if they perhaps move on with their lives, but the bond is eternal, once the love is born, it can never die. So, eventually, we are forever protected and protecting at the same time, by the power of love, which has no limits. And it doesn't matter if we are protected AND protecting the same person, perhaps not. But there are no rules in love, we can simply rest assured, we are cradled in LOVE that is eventually not personal, it's a sum of all love there is, divine. That brings me enormous comfort and I'm grateful to know this song. |
