For me it feels like the person in the song is tormented by dark thoughts, hatred and isolation, maybe thinking no one would ever like him. He keeps his emotions bottled up inside and because he has no one in his life, there's noone to stop him from spiralling into darkness. I feel like in the chorus when he says 'When the world outside comes knocking, we are going hunting' is when the person is provoked by the outside world in some way and because he's had enough of everything and is apathetic, he goes outside but only to kill because it's the only way he will feel safe outside or relieve the darkness inside him.

I believe this song is about Leaders controlling people to believe in them and their process even if it’s bad for the people to follow them they still follow the leader just because he says it’s the right thing to do and the only thing people can do and when someone realises this, telling it to others falls on deaf ears because they won’t listen to you because they’re too brainwashed to think any other way. And people are just wasting away working themselves to the bone and letting people take advantage of them because that’s just the process...it’s what the leaders say is right, when it is not.

I feel this song is about someone who is a paraplegic or someone who can’t move anymore but their brain is still sane and they’re depressed because they can’t do what they once could and they want to use their mind but it’s hard because their body won’t let them speak and I feel like at the end they’re tired of life being a prisoner in their own body and they’re pleading to be set free :( It’s depressing to me because my Nana got a kind of dementia where she lost control of her body before she lost her mind and I can’t imagine how terrible that would have been for her as she was a prisoner in her own body...losing the ability to hold things, walk, sit, feed herself etc..while still being sane. :(

It sounds to me like he wants to be happy and be himself and say whatever he wants and do whatever he wants to, but mean people have put a damper on his day so to speak so he wants to get revenge on them and wishes that something bad will happen to them for whatever they did to him. But during the middleish part at the end it seems that he’s trying to calm himself down (Look Within to calm the storm raging inside the form) and get over the anger he feels but when he talks about sacrifice, and if he succeeds in the battle (revenge against the person) he will still feel bad in the end anyway. So after that he just lets the dam break so to speak and let’s the war begin again inside him and so he begins the cycle of anger anew and wishes for revenge and suffering of the person he hates.

Well when I hear this song to me it sounds like someone who is on the brink of death in war and they are about to die because numbers are dwindling in waves...but they go out with a bang so to speak and pull down as many enemies as they possibly can.
