Pra mim essa música remete ao tempo em que eramos crianças e tinhamos nossos melhores amigos ou amigas. Acho que quando no trecho "o meu melhor amigo é o meu amor", se refere a forma que amamos quando crianças nossos melhores amigos, sem qualquer conotação ou interesse sexual, um sentimento totalmente puro. Algumas partes pode ser a a mãe ou o pai falando para os filho, mas também duas crianças brincando, ou dois adultos lembrando: "E a gente canta E a gente dança E a gente não se cansa De ser criança A gente brinca Na nossa velha infância" Ou é um adulto brincando com uma criança e relembrando como era ser criança, uma infância depois de velho. "Você é assim Um sonho pra mim E quando eu não te vejo Eu penso em você Desde o amanhecer E até quando me deito" Essa parte se refere ao pai ou a mãe pensa muito no filho enquanto ele é criança. |

I really don't know much about Mick and his family, I may be totally wrong about the "true meaning". I think artists just express their art sometimes in a way that is very open to interpretation, sometimes they write a song that even they themselves don't know the meaning, but someone may recognize it. The core are the feelings behind it. It is a relationship with pain, spearation, love and a different and bad environment. In my personal opinion he was talking about his mother. And his struggling to leave her behind by choosing to live "on the road". Those wild horses could be all the people from the show bizz and bad influences in his life that he would have to face without her. "Faith has been broken", maybe she was religious and he left religion. This is how I relate. |
