If the words just came to him in the moment that makes me think supernatural biblical thoughts too and I could see this as coming from the one God loved the most but kicked out. Clothes not fitting right kinda reminds me of Adam and Eve. Also could go internal and be a battle in the mind and wearing yourself out. |

Different things at different times always. You come to me with a bone in your hand makes me think of a dog excited to get a treat. The one with the bone has the power to make the other feel so great but also may cause him to beg and that can be a problem and set up inequality and feeling lower than the other./ feels like a one way relationship lots of times. Sex sex sex. Its crazy what you could have had = You blew it I would have been so great to you and you could have been so happy. I need you but I can't please you enough to make you want to please me like I need you to please me so I can please you over and over.. He is going around and around in his mind and emotions and cycling between love and hate, pride/self loathing. The clothes not fitting right makes me feel like they cant afford new clothes and are struggling and that's his fault maybe because of addiction or depression or destroyed motivation he is blaming on the other. Tried everything but they can't seem to get out of the negative feedback loop... a country feedback loop. Such a great song. |
