This is obviously about him being alone and rather "randy". He's at a bar, lounge or wherever to get out of the house and runs into an old acquaintance that he used to see/date/bang. The old flame has obviously put on weight, but still has some sex appeal and seeing as he's lonely / randy and she is there readily available, he wants to take her home and is trying to find a way to flatter her. He picks a safe item to compliment and really drives it home. Hair , smile, nice choice in fashion are things a man could compliment on and be honest about, w.out telling her she is drop dead gorgeous , because it'd be a lie. The other tidbits - like pushing 30 - We know "pushing 30" isn't old by any standard, so he's calling out the way "they say you're pushing 30" is her friends saying it about her, but leaving off that the 30 is stone/weight not age. |
