They are heavier than a overweight bag of sand, not as much as Lamb of god but if I want Lamb of God levels of heavy than I would listen to Lamb of god.(Which I do. I am listening to them as I rant.) The original reason they wore the masks was so that they could live normal lives without people saying "holy shit its corey tailor" (although they couldn't keep that going forever) and then it became a tradition. lastly, even thogh slipknot is "heavy as Shit" it is not heavy metal. It is technically a "nu metal" band (they try to distance themselves from other numetal bands) but it has implements of heavy metal, rock, fuck you can catch corey rapping a couple times. (it sounds awesome, and I fucking hate rap) The point is, your comparing lead-injected apples to mutated oranges. |
