Seeing as the singer was fresh out of high school when this album was underway, I feel like this song is either about the anticipation to graduate, or looking forward to stardom because back then they were actually being looked at by major labels before deciding on a smaller one so they'd be prioritized.
The line "Feel it pulse, watch it grow, it explodes when..." means he basically anticipates the bands explosion into mainstream popularity, which unfortunately didn't happen. |

This is possibly their most relatable song. It's essentially a diss track towards himself that doesn't make him sound like he wants to die. Almost like he accepts the way he is. Like, yeah I'm fussy, I'm the King Of The Fuss. |

I think this song is him calling out people who take more than they need, much more than they'll use. And he doesn't want to share with dumb motherfuckers. Why? Because they already have more than they need, much more than they'll use. But he knows at the end of the day, they'll all be cool...just like a Rubix cube. I don't know about you, but these lyrics are going into MY nu metal canon. |

The narrator finds out he's living a lie and he just wants to carry on in that lie for as long as possible because he was happier then. He's in denial. They tried so hard, and got so far, but in the end, it doesn't even matter. Because it was all a lie and he's obviously not exactly happy about it. |

One of my favorite tracks. Great opener for the album, although I don't really care for the electronic intro. Otherwise, it's in my Top 5. As for the meaning, it's a love song. |
