| Love songs can be written about many things ... and saying goodbye to somebody - or someTHING that has such a hold on you sometimes requires a creative outlet. SIA has been sober for 8 years after a battle with drugs & alcohol. I hear this sad & beautiful song as a goodbye to her longtime companion, her drug of choice ... I hear it because I understand it. We mourn the loss initially. Sometimes break-ups help us grow and move on though ❣️ | |
