I have no idea what this song was specifically written about but it definitely has political undertones. To me its about people in positions of power where they be CEO, President, King, Senator who choose to ignore problems or push solutions aside that don't fit their agendas or the agendas of those that make contributions to them. Even when these issues get so serious they lead to the deaths of others they still sit in their ivory towers seemingly ambivalent to the problems facing the people they are supposed to care about. |
