This song makes me kinda sad. I've suffered anxiety for a long time and even thought I keep it controled once or twice in a year it just creeps and explodes into a panic attack so my view on this song is about a controlled substance like Xanax, I take it when the anxiety is just too much: it can do anything, she reads me, she tries to free me (?) she needs me, she has the daylight at her command and she can uncover your darkest fear and make you forget YOU FEEL IT, and suddenly I can see everything that is wrong with me but what can I do? she is going to change the world but no matter what, she can't change me, I will always have this disorder. I don't know, knowing what happened to Chris and I imagine what he went trough (anxiety and depression are horrible) and how he ended it, I really can't help but to think this is what it is. I love this song, its sad but it also makes me accept how it is and that its ok and that this sadness can also be a beautiful song. |
