@[unbelievablelines:28682] First of all, "God" and "Religion" are two entirely different things, by definition. Second, your assumption regarding my personal belief is what we call a "Logical Fallacy", as is that of Brad Roberts. "I don't give a s*** about God or Christmas" (the only mention by Roberts I can find) while reflective of a typical atheist attitude, is not grounds for making declarative statements about someone's beliefs that you don't know. It's like me making the definitive statement "I'm sure Brad Roberts would be rather perturbed to learn some loudmouth out there is using his music to belittle potential fans. Right? Fact is, I don't know that. Finally, the song is not about "God", IMO. The song is about Man. The point of the song... as I see it is, "Shut the hell up and enjoy the nice picnic". Peter Pumpkinhead runs along the same lines... unfortunately there's not mention of God there, so no opportunity for you, eh? Hey if you can make "Mother Earth Suffled Her Feet" sound right, by all means, head to the recording studio and see how it works out. |

@[Godshuffledhisfeet:28657] God gave the people everything they needed and then some. Rather than enjoy and be thankful, they endlessly nitpick him to the point of hatred. The point of the song is... Mankind is it's own worst enemy. |

| @[unbelievablelines:28656] Agreed, it is a great song. Your interpretation of it though, is a shallow and opportunistic act reflective of any self-respecting "Humanist". | |
