| Télépopmusik ā Yesterday Was a Lie Lyrics | 6 years ago |
| I agree with you, it does sound like somebody who suffered for their love, and perhaps the feeling that remains for a long time after. It's hard when you realize somebody doesn't love you in the same way you love them. Very touched by the song, and Angela McCluskey's amazing voice. | |

'One In A Million' has been removed from the 2018 boxset 'Appetite for Destruction: Locked Nā Loaded Edition', basically their first 4 albums embellished (I think, haven't got it?). There's a discussion about it on The New York Times 'Popcast'. I think it's a bit silly to say the song isn't racist, but I'm sure there's racism in all of us, not just a poor white boy from LA east side, probably more important what you do with it than whether the hate/prejudice exists or not. I don't have much sympathy for Axl Rose (he went up in my estimation stepping in for Brian Johnson on AC/DC's tour), I thought Guns n Roses ended up taking themselves way too seriously (Spinal Tap :)), but even as a non-fan admit they made some great music, important band for late 80s/early 90s. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/08/04/arts/music/popcast-legacy-erasure-internet-canon.html?rref=collection%2Fcolumn%2Fpopcast-pop-music-podcast&action=click&contentCollection=music®ion=stream&module=stream_unit&version=latest&contentPlacement=5&pgtype=collection |
